Federal Signal is the world leader in signaling products and communication and security systems. They needed a website that lived up to that title.
Orbit worked with Federal Signal to develop a fully responsive Drupal website to feature their impressive product catalog, product resources and technical support information. We built a dealer locator to connect potential customers with the closest Federal Signal dealer as well as a filterable news feed to showcase press and company updates.
We worked closely with the Federal Signal team to identify the valuable keywords that are being searched for by their potential customers. By optimizing product pages for their corresponding keywords, Federal Signal has been able to target specific market segments and drive more traffic to their website from search results.
Federal Signal required a website where users could easily navigate through their extensive line of signaling, communication and safety products. We designed and developed a drop down menu and product category filters to achieve this goal.
It was imperative that users can easily filter through and engage with Federal Signal’s extensive product catalog on tablet and mobile devices. Product pages include image slideshows, easily accessible product data sheets and social sharing. A sticky menu bar enables the user to quickly jump between product features, specifications, resources and ordering information.
